Asa Hudson

Name: Asaiah "Asa" Hudson

History: Asa was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada, of course) into a rather simple middle-class family. His life was normal, like that of most kids', until he met his wisp. He was spending the day in the park sometime in December, playing hookie from school, when he met Dawson. Dawson and him bonded over the next few weeks, sharing powers, until eventually Asa could change into almost anybody; he once pretended to be a foreign exchange student from France in middle school. It took about a month for his mother and father to figure what was happening, but they finally did, and boy, it was hell.

Asa's parents weren't exactly too thrilled about the whole "mutant thing," so they decided it was best to ship they're only child off to an all-boy boarding school in northern Wyoming lead by this ex-Navy official. Yeah, Asa didn't quite agree with him all the time, and with no girls at the school, he went almost crazy. Finally, once he'd been there a whole year, he simply got up in the middle of the night and ran away (which was really simple, since none of the teachers there gave a d*** about any of the kids, anyhow). He set out for Montana (it was closest, and he liked the name of it), and eventually reached it by asking politely for rides on the side of the road. Once in Montana, he went up to houses and asked to stay with the families, disguised as a little girl scout. Then, he saw the School, and a mansion, well, he just couldn't resist knocking. And so, he made himself into Annie, little red-head, and knocked. When they opened the door, eventually, they found out he was an Esper.

Physical Appearance--Prefered: Asa has simple short brownish hair with beautiful blue eyes. His skin is somewhat tanned, though not full-on Latino or Italian. He is about 5'10.5" and thin, though slightly muscle-y. He has little acne, and all his body parts are for the most part proportionate.

Personality:  Asaiah is a kind and sweet guy, very compassionate and caring. Yeah, that sounds super cliché, but it's true. He's super romantic, too; his favorite move is "A Walk to Remember". Asa is also very intelligent, but not always logical. He can be funny at times, and often laughs at other people's jokes and at inappropriate times, like any other teenager. He tends to be more of a follower than a leader in situations, following whatever directions his instructor gives him. Of course, he will do whatever he wants to do if he doesn't agree with the instructions at least somewhat.
Wisp: Asa's wisp is named Dawson, after his favorite character from his favorite character from him favorite T.V. show, "Dawson's Creek". Asa came across Dawson at the age of 11, when he was "home sick" from school. Dawson really acts as a classic Shoulder-Angel to Asa, usually guiding his hormone-crazed mind away from porn and drugs and such. He is really odd and unorthodox in his teaching methods; he could pass for a Feeny in his early 20s. Dawson's kind of odd, much like Asa, which is what really links them together.

Wisp Class: Matter

Powers: Asa can change his physical appearance so that he looks like any other human being, much like that of X-Men's Mystique. He can change his voice, too (which really, on a totally unrelated note, helped him through his early awkward stages of puberty; he can still remember that poor ol' Isaac in his class that had his voice break in 5th grade).

Weakness: Asa isn't very good in making choices, and will probably choose the wrong one, regardless of what Dawson says to him; making choices is very difficult for him, and if pressured, he has terrible judgement on even the most obvious things. He also sometimes gets flustered when speaking in public, and he's always unsure of himself.
Talents: Pshh, he can... sing a bit? And, he's a fair actor; he was in several of his school plays.

Other: He likes pizza?

How exactly did he learn about the school? Since the school makes a big deal out of staying out of the spot light and generally keeping it's purpose a mystery. Heck the locals don't know what it's for, let alone anybody else. Usually the academy scouts find students, even the runaways and generally convince parents or in some cases the academy gets custody of some students, such as Axel, Atiya, and Gypsy.

By "Kind and Sweet" do you mean something along the lines of Friendly and compassionate? those are both terms that are generally used to say "not a jerk" normally.

also i need a bit of clarification on the weakness. Do you mean that he has bad judgement? is he generally a bad judge of character or does he simply lack common sense?

I'm curious why he went to Montana, the way he ended up at the academy is also still Iffy, but coincidence does happen so. fix that and you're good, wait for somebody else to approve though.

I'm going to assume that by "will do what he wants when he doesn't like instructions sometimes" or whatever means in cases that it goes against your moral code, since otherwise it'd seem like a bit of a contradicting trait.
