Floating Music

((Since they've both been at the academy a while, I guess we should assume they've been roommates and know each other.))

Piper stared pensively into the distance as she floated in the air a few feet above her bed, strumming her banjo and singing a tune that she made up as she went. When she heard the door open, she flipped in the air and landed gracefully on her mattress. "Heya Amber!" she said cheerfully, sweeping a piece of her currently half blue hair out of her face. She put her banjo down and hopped of the bed.

“Hey,” Amber grinned when she saw Piper. She immediately jumped over to Piper’s mattress, flinging herself onto it. “Lying down feels so good,” she commented. It had been a pretty long day for her up until now. There was things to do, people to meet. Not to mention enduring the little annoying genius speaking in her head. Clair, her wisp, could drive anyone insane. Of course, excepting Amber. That probably just summed up their entire partnership.

Piper smiled happily as Amber flung herself onto her bed. Piper flopped down beside her. "Long day?" she asked. Piper herself had a fairly relaxed day, lacking much to do and not feeling like making something to do.

Amber half-shrugged. "Pretty much. I see you're more relaxed than usual," she commented with a sly grin, "And I say that because you're not making any comments on my sense of fashion." Pipes was the one with the awesome style and stuff. She, Amber, balanced this out with her own boyish clothing. Which Piper tried to "fix" for her. 


((Haha, I'm just making an assumption there. The app for Pipes said that she has a good fashion sense, and anyone who has a good fashion sense has gotta be annoyed at Amber's clothing ))
